In the city center of Amsterdam Züblin Netherlands is building one of the largest urban projects in Western Europe: the Booking.com campus, placed on the tip of Oostdokseiland. This multifunctional international head office covers a surface of 72.500 square meters.
The 1.500 solar panels on the roof for one, supply a BREEAM Excellent design certificate.
To safely access these solar panels, the architect Ben van Berkel from UNStudio choose for Gorter® RHT-roof hatches. This impressive office building is an absolute eye catcher and Gorter is pleased to participate in a project of this caliber!
RHT-roof hatches
The applied RHT-roof hatch is thermally separated and has an exceptional high insulation value. With this, the RHT-roof hatch is the sustainable solution for a safe access to the flat and slightly sloping roof.
Optimal safety with Gorter roof hatches
Most of the times we deliver the Gorter roof hatches in combination with the perfectly matching climbing materials. All the Gorter products and combinations guarantee optimal safety. They are tested conform the most strict EN-safety standards, and are delivered with TÜV NORD and KOMO®-certificate, also with the Aboma-quality mark. The RHT-roof hatches are the first to be delivered with an ETA (European Technical Assessment); the undisputed proof for the applied CE-marking.
