Gorter® standard very complete

All Gorter roof hatches have a cover which is completely windproof and has all-round double sealing. The  RHT hatch comes with a Euro cylinder lock and, in the case of lengths over 1,400 mm, the roof hatch also has three-point locking.

Standard for all roof hatches

All Gorter roof hatches are fitted as standard with a number of convenient and safety-enhancing fittings. For instance, there are easy opening features with a counterbalancing system and controlled closing. The hatch features an automatic lock in the open position and can always be safely and easily operated with one hand.

With CE-ETA: What does this mean?

At Gorter®, safety, sustainability, and performance are key. That’s why our roof hatches, from standard to extra-insulated and glazed, come with a CE marking and a European Technical Assessment (ETA).

What is CE-ETA?

The CE marking is mandatory in the EU and indicates that a product meets strict health, environmental, and safety regulations. When no harmonized European standard (hEN) is available, a product is assessed according to a European Assessment Document (EAD), which leads to a European Technical Assessment (ETA). Gorter® roof hatches have received this assessment, confirming their quality and performance.

Roof access with the Gorter translucent roof hatch

All Gorter translucent roof hatches have a cover which is completely windproof and has all-round double sealing. The translucent hatch is opened and closed by two powerful and compact electric motors.

Translucent and standard in aluminium

The Gorter translucent roof hatches are manufactured from high-grade aluminium. This makes the construction strong and durable. The roof hatch also has a durable powder coating inside and outside to keep maintenance to a minimum.

Options and special versions

All roof hatches can be fitted with an electric control with a link to any building systems and sensors in place. Aside from the standard RAL colours, our roof hatches can be supplied in the RAL colour of your choice so they fit in with the overall design. The roof hatches are also available in special designs, such as fire-resistant or explosion relief.

Usage

Roof hatches can be used as escape hatches, but in most situations, they provide convenient and cost-effective access to roof terraces, cooling systems, lift machine rooms, solar collectors and other facilities on rooftops.

No thermal bridges

Convenient and
unbeatable insulation

The Gorter® roof hatches are designed with a fully thermally separated construction, meaning that the inner and outer sides of the hatch have no direct connection. This effectively prevents heat loss and keeps the insulation value consistently high throughout the entire construction.

For cold and warm climates

The unique structure provides unparalleled insulation properties, avoiding thermal bridges and significantly improving the building’s energy efficiency. Thanks to this advanced technology, Gorter® hatches offer excellent performance in both cold and warm climates, contributing to lower energy costs and a more sustainable building.
